Invitations Handmade Wedding Stationery

When should I order my wedding stationery?

I would recommend that you contact me to order your wedding invitations as soon as possible and plan to  send them  out  about three months before the wedding date. The sooner you order, the more certain you are of using my services. if you have left it later than this, depending on how busy I am orders can be completed within a shorter time.

How long will my order take?

From final proof approval, orders take approximately 10-15 working days. This is dependent on the design you have chosen. When you initially place the order I will discuss the production and likely delivery date. Depending on how busy I am orders can be completed within a shorter time if necessary.

Will I receive a proof before you print my wedding stationery?

Yes, you will receive your proof via email within 2 working days of placing your order. The proof will show the exact layout and typeface of your wording. You can amend this proof as many times as needed until you are entirely happy with it, after which I will send you a hard copy before starting the bulk of the order.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is a minimum order quantity of 20 on all Wedding Invitations and Save the Date cards. Also a minimum order of 10 on the Order of Service /Day. No minimum order on Menus, Table Plans and Name  cards.

How many wedding invitations should I order?

Allow one wedding invitation per couple or single person.  Always order a few extra wedding invitations in case of errors and to invite replacement guests if anyone cannot   attend your wedding. It will cost much less to order them all at once because if you have to order more this will be charged as a new order with a minimum quantity of 20. Also you may want  to keep one as a souvenir.

Should we include guests’ children’s names on the invitations?

If you are inviting children to your wedding you should  include their names on their parents’ invitations.  If your guest’s children are not included on their invitation they should assume the invitation is for them only. If you are not inviting children to your wedding, it would be polite to include a line at the bottom stating this.

Do I need to order all my stationery items in one go?

No. It is often the case that the quantities for your other stationery items depend on the response from your   wedding invitations. You can place your wedding stationery order separately and I will have all your design and colour preferences remembered to make ordering your other stationery items extra easy.

How many ‘Order of Service’ cards should I order?

I would  suggest ordering one order of service card for each couple attending the ceremony.

How much is delivery?

All completed orders will be sent by signed for next day delivery,  the cost will vary.  I can give you an idea of the cost of postage when we agree the order and numbers of Invitations needed. Collection in person is possible if preferred and convenient.

Can we use bi-lingual text?

Yes. No problem  for text to be printed in other languages; however the text must be supplied via email in full and checked by you. I can not accept responsibility for any spelling or grammatical errors made in the original text supplied.
